Chinese online and mobile publisher IGG (HK: 08002) has announced its popular Castle Clashis coming to Tencent's WeChat platform.
Introducing hero characters to Clash of Clans-style touchscreen strategy, the mobile game has been globally successfully, including going top 20 top grossing on the Google Play in the US.
Cash from the Clash
During its first three months of operation, the game has generated over $7 million with around 5 million monthly active players on iOS and Android.
The WeChat version is expected to go live in China in March 2014, and will demonstrate the social platform can handle more complex titles that the simple gameplay of its current portfolio that includes Fruit Ninja and WeRun.
