Turkish based developer Bigger Games has raised $25 million in a series A funding round to accelerate its growth.

Founder in 2019, Bigger Games said it will use the investment to scale its vision of “emotionally resonant” mobile games globally.

The studio’s first title is match-3 game Kitchen Masters, which is currently in soft launch.

Bigger Games’ investment round was led by Goodwater Capital, with participation from Arcadia Gaming Partners, Index Ventures, and Play Ventures.

As part of the deal, Coddy Johnson - former Activision Blizzard president and now a partner at Goodwater - has joined the developer’s’ board of directors.

New offerings

“We’re not just building games - we’re building emotion engines,” said Bigger Games CEO and co-founder Hakan Ulvan.

“We believe the next wave of mobile gaming will be won by studios that create meaningful, memorable experiences with every swipe. This funding is a launchpad for us to scale that vision globally.”

He added: “We obsess over emotional momentum, the feeling of progress, mastery, and joy. This funding lets us take that philosophy to new platforms, new genres, and a much bigger audience.”
