Turkish startup Boby.ai has raised $1.25 million in seed funding to develop AI-powered mobile apps.
As reported by Egirisim, the company said it will use the funds to improve its current apps, launch new products and expand its team.
Boby.ai was co-founded by CEO Gökçe Nur Oğuz, Onur Olgun, and Berat Oğuz in 2023. Gökçe Nur Oğuz previously led successful gaming ventures including Playable Factory and Fabrika Games.
The startup is focused on developing AI-supported mobile applications. Its flagship app Mozart.ai, lets users create personalised music using AI and has surpassed 2.5m downloads.
London Venture Partners led the round alongside Diffusion Capital Partners and F4 Fund.
“On the right track"
“Everything we have learned over the years in the gaming industry—how to develop products quickly, how to scale, what works and what doesn’t—we are now bringing to AI-based mobile applications," said Boby.ai CEO Gökçe Nur Oğuz.
“Our goal is very clear: to develop applications that people actually use, benefit from, and enjoy. This investment is not just a financial boost for us, it is also a strong indication that we are on the right track.”
London Venture Partners' founding partner David Gardner also commented: “At LVP, we believe that great companies are born at the intersection of talent, technology, and timing; Boby.AI is a perfect example of this.
“The team has a strong background in game development. They have previously built projects that have reached millions of users worldwide. They are now bringing this experience to the rapidly growing space of user-friendly AI applications on mobile."
