Game developers team up to raise money for War Child charity

The War Child charity has teamed up with Positech, Wargaming, Ink Stories and Blackmill Games to help raise money to support children affected by conflict across the globe.

The studios are taking part in the War Child Armistice initiative by developing peaceful playthrough options for their games, DLC or by donating part of their sales to the charity.

Good cause

Games such as World of Tanks and Verdun 1914 will be offering special emblem packs and new DLC as part of the scheme.

Democracy 3 developer Positech will donate a portion of sales to the charity from November 1st to December 2nd, while the 1979 Revolution: Black Friday developer Ink Stories will also donate some of its income between November 28th and December 2nd.

As well as raise money for a good cause, War Child hopes the scheme will attract further attention from the public and other games studios for similar initiatives each year.
