Vivendi has released Gameloft's financials for its Q1 FY17 for the three months ending March 31st 2017.

The developer generated revenues of $73.9 million, down 1.4% quarter-on-quarter. Its profits also fell to $3.2 million, down 40% quarter-on-quarter from $5.4 million in Q4 FY16.

Portfolio approach

In terms of key performers, Vivendi stated that Gameloft's Dragon Mania Legends, Disney Magic Kingdoms, March of Empires, Modern Combat 5, Sniper Fury and Asphalt Airborne all saw their daily sales increase significantly during the quarter.

Recently launched titles Gangstar New Orleans and N.O.V.A. Legacy are also said to have performed well for the studio. The games have received seven million downloads and 12 million downloads respectively since launch.

Gameloft has plenty of other games launching in the coming months, thanks to a steady string of soft-launches.
