Habby’s Archero 2 generated $6.6 million in gross revenue during its first week since launching globally on January 7th, 2025.

According to AppMagic data this has helped push the game’s total earnings beyond $40 million thus far, including revenue accumulated since its soft launch last September.

It's worth noting that these estimates do not include ad revenue, which are likely to make up a significant share of earnings for the title.

After starting out in select regions like Canada, Archero 2 expanded its soft launch to China, Hong Kong, India and elsewhere on November 19th. Daily player spending surged by 819% one day later to $413,000. Soft launch revenue quickly peaked at $974,000 on November 29th.

Fast-forward to 2025, the full, worldwide launch of Habby’s latest hybridcasual hit has seen Archero 2 extend its availability to key new territories like Japan and the US, causing daily player spending to reach a new peak of nearly $1.3 million on January 12th.

Back for more

Following in the footsteps of its 2019 predecessor Archero – the very game to have coined the name hybridcasual – Habby has framed Archero 2 as a roguelike sequel with faster combat, more skill customisation and a number of new dungeons to explore.

Its $6.6 million earnings in week one far exceeded the original Archero’s $282,000 launch week, with even daily revenue exceeding Archero’s first seven combined.

Comparing lifetime revenue, the sequel has already made 10.6% of Archero’s $376 million in a matter of months.

The US proved the main driver behind Archero 2’s global launch week revenue, with players in the country having contributed $1.9 million of its $6.6 million earned worldwide. Japan followed in second with almost $1.1 million contributed, while South Korean players came third with $891,000.

These same three countries have also spent the most in the original Archero, indicating that a similar market appeal for the sequel has begun to form.

Globally, players spent an average of $957,000 per day in-game during Archero 2’s launch week.

The title currently has more than 50 main chapters to play through, new 3-Star chapter challenges to complete and over 1,000 floors in its Sky Tower to conquer. The global launch also saw cross-server leaderboards added for an extra competitive edge.
