Apples iOS devices have continued to show growth in the US and the EU while still declining in China.

According to Kantar World Panel, in the US, iOS devices made up 31.3% of smartphone sales "in the three months ending July 2016" - a 1.2% increase year-on-year.

In the UK, iOS devices made up 38% of all smartphones sold, and saw small increases in Italy and Spain after a slight decline in the three months ending June 2016.

Still falling

However, in what Kantar World Panel calls "urban China", iOS devices made up only 14.3% of smartphone sales, as sales continue to decline while Apple competes with cheap, locally-made Android devices.

This data is particularly interesting compared to a report in August 2016 from Kantar World Panel, in which iOS devices made up 17.9% of sales.
