The company will launch Game of Thrones: Kingsroad on May 21st across the Americas, Europe, Africa, Oceania, and the Middle East on mobile platforms and PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Windows Launcher.
Growth drivers
Netmarble said its Q1 EBITDA increased due to reduced expenses like commission fees despite a slight revenue decline caused by seasonal factors affecting subsidiaries.
Furthermore, net profit grew significantly quarter-over-quarter, as there were no intangible asset impairment costs.
Revenue growth was driven by the success of RF Online Next which launched in Korea, and the rising DAU of Solo Leveling: ARISE following major updates in late 2024.
The company's other upcoming releases in Q2 include Seven Knights Re: BIRTH and The King of Fighters AFK, with five more titles planned for the second half of the year, including The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, MONGIL: STAR DIVE, and Project SOL.
“Following the successful launch of RF Online Next on March 20th, which reached the number one spot on mobile in Korea, we remain fully committed to leveraging our capabilities each quarter to ensure that our upcoming titles achieve strong, meaningful results in global markets,” said Netmarble CEO Byung-gyu Kim.
