Long Tail business specialist RockYou is adding another two games to its growing deck.
The San Francisco-based company has acquired cross-platform puzzlers Solitaire Arena and Solitaire 3 Arena from MavenHut for an undisclosed sum as it continues its strategy of recycling games that other firms have written off.
We will rock you
Last month, we reported that RockYou had snaffled the majority of social mobile developer Kiwi’s game lineup – including Westbound, Shipwrecked, Brightwood Adventures and Explorers: Skull Island.
This latest move will now grow RockYou’s daily active user base by over 2 million players, which is sure to be of strategic value to its May acquisition of mobile ad network Playhaven.
“We’re very pleased to welcome Solitaire Arena’s dedicated fans to RockYou’s community,” said RockYou CEO Lisa Marino.
“These are more classic titles that we can enable to live on and engage our users with for years to come, while we continue expanding our mobile reach and provide entertaining content that consumers love.”
