New jobs site Unity Connect brings developers together to collaborate on new games

Unity has unveiled a new jobs site to bring developers together to collaborate on games development.

Called Unity Connect, the the jobs board lets developers create their own profiles, in which they can include a photo of themselves, samples of their work and tag their skills. The latter element is a key part of the platform, as other users can search those skills.

Come together

Developers running a project can post a task or full project to the site, as well as search for the skills they need via the tagging system, whether they are looking for a concept artist, programmer, writer or another profession.

Employers looking for employees for the long-term can also post a standard job listing.

Companies currently listed as supporting the site include Zynga, Owlchemy Labs, Recemption Games and N3twork.

Unity Connect is in open beta from today at connect.unity.com.
