Pokemon GO has seen its revenues increase by 133% to $4.6 million a day worldwide during its first live event.

The data comes from market intelligence firm Sensor Tower. It looked at revenues generated by the game between October 18th-22nd, before the event, and between October 25th-29th, during the event.

It estimated that revenues between the first set of dates were approximately $10 million worldwide. During the second period, however, the game saw revenues of approximately $23.3 million.

It also saw daily revenues increase to approximately $4.6 million a day. This is an increase on daily revenues of approximately $2 million a day the week before the event went live.

Pokemon GO's Halloween event increased the appearance rates of certain "spooky" Pokemon as well as reducing the distances required for "buddy" Pokemon to produce candy.

The game went straight to the top of the App Store grossing charts in the US just one day into the event. It also saw an increase in chart position in Japan, where it fluctuates more than any other market.
