Open games ecosystem B3 has partnered with Reach Labs to deploy a novel user acquisition platform to help users discover new experiences.

Reach Labs said the platform will harness social network effects and financial incentives. It will also publish first and third-party titles on its custom GameChain which can be used to host the UA platform on B3.

Industry veterans from Jam City, Ubisoft, and Gameloft founded the company. It is led by former MySpace CEO and Jam City co-founder Chris DeWolfe, along with ex-Jam City VP of Strategy Jeremy Horn.

Through its launch on B3, Reach taps into a games-optimised infrastructure while contributing to ecosystem-wide growth.

“Distribution is the biggest challenge for software, who increasingly battle high acquisition costs and market saturation,” said Reach Labs co-founder Chris DeWolfe.

“With B3, we saw an opportunity to build the next-gen user acquisition layer - one that gives brands and developers full control, full transparency, and real economic alignment with their users.

He added: “With REACH’s custom GameChain, software on B3 will have access to a comprehensive solution that pairs them with likely participants. Studios are equipped with the insights and technology needed to identify, engage, and retain players in today’s dynamic environment.”
