Roblox has launched new ‘Economy and Funnel event analytics' tools help speed up the growth experience for developers.

According to a post to the company's creator forum, developers can now enhance their analytics by adding a few lines of code to unlock new dashboards.

These include Economy events (626) which will track how users gain and spend currency and resources, and Funnel events (223) to understand where users drop off during onboarding, shopping, and other processes.

A successful test run

Roblox has been testing both new tools and has shared feedback on how the beta has been met by creators.

“By monitoring my economy graphs, I realised that there wasn’t enough incentive for users to spend our currency. So I added more sinks to balance my economy," one developer comments.

“Funnels have been great - I’ve been using them to test new features and streamline our new user onboarding," said another developer.

Roblox has also shared that these events can be segmented by age, gender, platform, OS, and up to three custom fields. Developers can now learn how to unlock these dashboards to discover new ways to enhance their experience.

The new tools come as part of Roblox increasing relevance as a platform for developers to create within, and the subsequent monetisation of their creations via users.
