Royal Kingdom’s revenue continues to snowball month-over-month, surpassing $100 million in lifetime player spending across the App Store and Google Play on April 28th, 2025.
The milestone was reached five months on from th title's global release, though this does include soft launch revenue. As of May 12th, AppMagic data suggests the game has made $112.4m in gross revenue.
Ignoring soft launch earnings, Dream Games’ Royal Match sequel has earned $92.2m since its November 21st, 2024 release.
Rising the ranks
Royal Kingdom’s latest milestone was reached during what was a record month for player spending in-game, with the game picking up $20.4m in April.
This was up 6% from $19.3m in March and more than doubled Royal Kingdom’s first full month following global launch, December 2024, when the title generated $9.1m.
April also marked the 12th consecutive month of player spending growth for the game and was likely bolstered by a star-studded marketing campaign featuring Shakira, LeBron James and others.
May 2025 is shaping up to be stronger still, with record daily player spending of almost $1.1m on the 11th. This was also Royal Kingdom’s first time surpassing $1m in daily spend.

The US has contributed 64% of Royal Kingdom’s player spending total thus far, or $71.8m, further establishing this audience as Dream Games’ most lucrative. $5 billion maker Royal Match has earned 55% of its player spending from the US.
Looking solely at revenue since the global launch, the country has been responsible for 78% of Royal Kingdom’s total spending.
Meanwhile, where the UK market contributed nearly three-quarters of Royal Kingdom’s soft launch revenue, the country has since slipped into second place behind the US. Its $21.8m in spending equates to 19% of total earnings.
Australia ranks third with 5% of global spending or $5.5m, just ahead of Canada’s $5.2m.
Royal Kingdom’s continued growth and its race to $100m has also been achieved without any significant adverse impacts on predecessor Royal Match so far, suggesting any cannibalisation between the casual titles has been minimal. In fact, Royal Match achieved its own record month this January, at $218m.
