Outfit7’s Talking Tom & Friends: World has launched globally, bringing pranks, tea parties and avatar customisation to iOS and Android.
The latest entry in the Talking Tom series has taken a 2D cartoony approach, with a more simplified art style and an emphasis on sandbox experiences, giving players freedom to imagine their own story and socialise with characters however they choose.

Talking Tom & Friends: World was slated for an August release as part of Outfit7’s 2025 roadmap. It launched on time, August 7th, marking the second of three Talking Tom mobile games planned for this year.
Customisation takes centre stage in this entry with players able to decorate houses, painting rooms and changing their décor. Featuring an avatar, players can also see a representation of themselves getting up to mischief with Talking Tom and his friends. There’s a range of outfits and hairstyles to choose from.
"Want to wear pajamas at the beach or a cape in space? No one’s stopping you. This isn’t just dress-up, it’s self-expression made fun," the team at Outfit7 said.
"There’s no right way to play here, and that’s the point: just whimsical fun where little stories grow big."

Talking Tom & Friends: World’s launch has followed weeks after Outfit7’s July release My Talking Tom & Friends 2, which achieved the company’s highest pre-registration turnover rate yet and raced to 10 million downloads in less than two weeks.
The life simulation title also reached number one on Google Play’s games category in 31 countries, including the US and UK.
Later in 2025, the company plans to launch a fully reimagined version of the original Talking Tom game, at the cross-section of nostalgia and modern developments. This year is also the 15th anniversary of the original game.
