Going beyond the realm of games
In addition to the regular conference content, there will be two major partner events joining PG Connects London 2026, including the brand new Apps Business Summit, and the highly successful Beyond Games: Transmedia Summit, which made a blazing debut at PG Connects Helsinki in October.
Launching on Monday January 19th, the Apps Business Summit is a one-day event bridging the native games landscape with some of the world’s biggest mobile apps in language, fitness, dating, lifestyle and productivity - connecting leading mobile industry entrepreneurs from both games and non-games sectors to discover common challenges and opportunities.
Taking place on Tuesday January 20th, the popular Beyond Games: Transmedia Summit brings together representatives from games, screen, and art industries to explore shared IP and cross-media storytelling, collaborative opportunities across games, film, TV, music, and explore technological convergence and cross-media investment.
Both events are held at the Barbican Centre, with access included in your regular PG Connects London ticket. An unmissable deal of three events in one ticket.
More fringe event activities
Another conference highlight unique for our 2026 event is the Aurora awards, which officially recognises outstanding achievements and the females and non-binary persons behind them in the UK games industry. You can nominate candidates here.
There’s a vast list of benefits of attending the event, but if you’re a developer wanting to draw attention to your game, our Journalist Bar is one of the most valuable opportunities you get to meet the UK’s leading games press.
Other key events and platforms coming to London include the Big Indie Zone (complemented by Audience Choice Award), the Very Big Indie Pitch (mobile and PC+console editions) AI-powered recruitment platform Careers Zone, our Global Connects Party, and plenty more to be announced.
