Turkish mobile game studio Alpaka Games has raised $2.2 million in a seed round.

The company said it'll use the funds to scale productions, improve its marketing capabilities and accelerate the launch of new games by targeting global markets.

Alpaka Games was selected for a16z's Speedrun program, an initiative by Andreessen Horowitz that supports top founders in tech, games, entertainment, and AI.

The studio joined the 2025 cohort in San Francisco, gaining access to Silicon Valley’s ecosystem. Ludus Ventures led the round, with participation from a16z speedrun and Revo Capital.

Growing globally

Founded by Can Aksoy, Levent Alp, and Özgün Levent Kaya, Alpaka Games brings together experience from Turkish tech and games companies like Rollic, Codeway, AdColony, and BiLira.

The studio aims to build a vertically integrated operation, combining game development and publishing with a focus on player-first experiences in the hybrid action genre.

“We’re proud to partner with some of the most respected investors in gaming,” said Alpaka Games CEO and co-founder Can Aksoy.

“As a young studio from Turkey, speedrun helped us connect with global leaders and sharpen our vision. This funding gives us the momentum to scale our games and team for international success.”
