FTUE: War and Order

In our First Time User Experience videos, we play the first 10 minutes of F2P mobile games to experience how developers are onboarding their players in terms of the UX and basic tutorial process.

In this video, we play Chinese developer Camel Games' War and Order.

Into battle

As quickly becomes clear, War and Order is inspired by Machine Zone's very successful and very niche mobile strategy game Game of War.

From the opening minutes, it seems like War and Order will attempt open up the battle elements - at least graphically.

Of course, the underlying gameplay remains the collection of the resources required to build and level up buildings and your overall city.

Something else Camel Games does straight away is encourage players to join an Alliance - very important for longterm retention and monetisation.
