Dubai is confirmed as Games of the Future host in 2025

• The tournament is set for autumn 2025

Dubai will host the Games of the Future 2025 following the UAE's selection as the host city at a ceremony in Istanbul last month.

Scheduled for autumn 2025, the Games of the Future will bring thousands of athletes and esports professionals from up to 100 countries to Dubai for the tournament.

The qualifiers are currently underway via the World Phygital Community’s Phygital Games 2024/25 tournament.

Dubai’s ten-year Program for Gaming 2033 focuses on attracting tech giants and global talent to advance the city's role as a hub for phygital development - using technology to bridge the digital and physical worlds.

Pushing boundaries 

“There can be no doubt of Dubai’s status as the world leader and a hub for the brightest and best in sports and technology. It is, therefore, a natural step for Dubai to play host to the Games of the Future 2025," said Ghanim Mubarak Al Hajeri, director-general of the General Authority of Sports, UAE.
