Google brings Play Points to Roblox with launch of Diamond District experience

Google has launched a new Roblox experience based on its Play Points rewards programme called the Diamond District.

The space features an obstacle course, mini-games, and digital and physical rewards, with a VIP vault for top-tier Diamond, Platinum and Gold members. The search giant said the experience will be live until July 2nd, 2025. 

Players can access the Diamond District in Roblox by linking their Google Play Points account. The move builds on a recent update that lets users redeem Play Points for exclusive Roblox items. 

Rewards include themed digital items like headphones and gliders inspired by the Play Points diamond logo. 

Rewards galore 

The space also offers physical rewards for Play Points members, including a custom Backbone One controller and a limited-edition gift box. 

There will also be additional merchandise from brands like Duolingo during launch week.
