1) Zenless Zone Zero achieves record revenue during Version 1.4 as it surpasses $250m on mobile
HoYoverse’s Zenless Zone Zero hit a new single-day revenue peak of $8.6 million on mobile, recorded upon its Version 1.4 update on December 18th, 2024.
The update also helped push the urban RPG beyond $250 million in lifetime gross revenue between Google Play and the App Store, according to AppMagic data.
2) Netflix's Squid Game: Unleashed mobile game surpasses 10m downloads
Netflix’s new mobile game Squid Game: Unleashed has surpassed 10 million downloads in less than a month since release, according to AppMagic estimates, already landing it among the streaming giant’s five biggest games.
The title is naturally inspired by the hit TV show Squid Game, which released a new season on December 26th, 2024.
3) Infinity Nikki styles up $16 million in launch month on mobile
Another mobile milestone, open world dress-up game Infinity Nikki celebrated one month since release with $16 million gross in gross revenue on mobile.
Earnings from Google Play and the App Store alone make this the series’ biggest launch to date, 40 times more lucrative than Love Nikki’s release.
When including sales across console, PC and alternative mobile app store sales — which AppMagic doesn’t record — Infinity Nikki’s actual launch month revenue was likely even greater.
