Konami resurrects 30-year-old IP with mobile RPG Suikoden: Star Leap

Konami is bringing back its classic 30-year-old IP Suikoden back with a new mobile game called Suikoden: Star Leap.
The title was unveiled during Konami's Suikoden Live broadcast as a role-playing adventure. The publisher said that Star Leap takes place before the events of Suikoden I, but a few years after Suikoden V.
Free-to-play adventure
The game will see players explore towns, meet new and familiar characters throughout their quests and experiences and art style that's inspired by 2D pixel character designs and 3D backgrounds.

Konami did not specify a release window for the title but confirmed it will release for Android and iOS. The title will be free and will feature in-app purchases.
Star Leap will be the first game in the series since 2012's Suikoden: The Woven Web of a Century.
