New release roundup: Sleepy Stork, Odin: Valhalla Rising, The Mr. Rabbit Magic Show and more

While the deals and the stats of the gaming world are important, nothing would happen without the research, funding and, of course, development that goes into making a great game.
So here’s a collection of the most exciting new mobile games right now, the developers and publishers behind them, and why, exactly, they've made the cut.
Odin: Valhalla Rising

Open-world MMORPG Odin: Valhalla Rising is a multiplatform Norse mythos game delivering its own spin on Midgard, Jotunheim, Niflheim and Alfheim. Developed by Lionheart Studio and published by Kakao Games, its seamless open world sets the stage for 30v30 cross-play battles and a war of dwarfs, giants, gods and beasts.
Sleepy Stork

Physics-based puzzler Sleepy Stork is the latest launch from Tim Kretz, with over 100 levels to overcome on a mission to drop a floppy stork into bed. Absurdity is the name of the game, as players aim to squeeze the cartoon bird through a range of shapes and obstacles to bring it closer and closer to bed.
Completing a level even reveals the stork’s latest dream, different with every challenge.
The Bird Game

Candlelight Development’s debut title The Bird Game sees players don the form of a bird themselves, flying, dashing and diving through stylised skies with the goal of finding resources and collectibles.
Customisation comes into play with different items affecting how birds fly, and by finding eggs, different types of birds can be hatched and upgraded with their own unique aerial qualities.
Metro Quester

Premium dungeon explorer and retro-graphics RPG Metro Quester has made the move from PC and console to mobile two years later, with 24 characters and eight classes in tow.
Developer Thousand Games has also included a New Game+ mode for the added replay value, and there’s a bestiary to keep collectors busy between battles in the post-apocalypse world.
The Mr. Rabbit Magic Show

Celebrating 10 years of Rusty Lake games - now catalogue of premium and free-to-play titles beginning with Cube Escape - The Mr. Rabbit Magic Show is here with eerie visuals, quirky humour and 20 magic tricks to demonstrate.
The celebratory title is free-to-play, and unlike most magicians, this one isn’t just pulling rabbits out of a hat - he is the rabbit.
