Nordcurrent acquires Ukrainian studio Blam Games

Cooking Fever publisher Nordcurrent has acquired Ukrainian studio Blam Games for an undisclosed fee.

The Odessa-based developer currently employs 40 staff and previously offered game art, animation and development services for other companies.

It joins Nordcurrent’s team of 130 staff working across studios in Vilnius, Lithuania and Warsaw, Poland.

“We are always on lookout for local and foreign game development talents. We are sure that expanding cultural diversity and creative capacity will help us develop more attractive and engaging games for global audience.”

Nordcurrent’s Cooking Fever IP has been downloaded by more than 200 million users across mobile and PC. The publisher has also worked on titles such as Sniper Arena, Happy Cafe and 101-in-1 Games.
