Rovio takes to the PocketGamer.biz jobs board to find 'Amazing' applicants

Angry Birds developer Rovio is on the hunt for fresh talent, and the studio has taken to the PocketGamer.biz jobs board to find it.
The Finnish firm, which is working on Amazing Alex ahead of its expected July 2012 release date, is recruiting for eight roles, including level designers, programmers, platform specialists, and QA engineers.

Rovio is currently looking to recruit:
- An experienced product manager who can identify consumer needs and define new service offerings while overseeing Rovio's existing services and products at all stages of the product lifecycle.
- Level/content designers to design and implement game content. One year of relevant work experience is desirable, as is experience with scripting languages and existing level editors.
- A lead QA engineer to manage Rovio's QA engineering team in automated and manual testing. At least four years of work experience in game or software testing is required, as well as one year of experience leading a test team.
- A prototype team lead to coach and supervise Rovio's game design team. Several years experience in game design is required for this role, and strong leadership skills are a must.
- A product owner who will take overall creative and business responsibility for one or more of Rovio's products. Previous product management, design, or engineering experience in the games industry is advantageous here.
- Platform specialists to polish and port game builds to new and existing mobile platforms. Candidates will need to demonstrate solid knowledge of mobile platforms and game programming in C++/Lua.
- Game programmers who can demonstrate strong C++ programming skills, and have experience on published projects. A suitable degree or master's is advantageous, too.
- Unity game programmers who can boast at least two years of experience programming, with several published games under their belts, and at least one year of experience with Unity3D.
