Dubbed the beating heart of the East Asia games market, Korea is home to companies like Krafton, Netmarble and NCSoft, all placing among the top 30 global game companies by revenue. 

Thus it’s no surprise the Korean games market ranks the fourth biggest in the world according to Newzoo - only beaten by Japan, the US and China. By 2024, it recorded 39 million players and $7.1 billion in revenue.
