Kazakhstan-based online game developer and publisher Grand Mobile has raised $750,000 to accelerate its growth.
As reported by Forbes, the studio will use the funds to expand its team, launch international marketing campaigns, and improve its flagship title Grand Mobile: RP Life Simulator.
The company also aims to expand into new markets, focusing on Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe, and the MENA region.
Grand Mobile was created by 27-year-old Roman Lineytsev. The open world game was released in 2022 and has since garnered over 60 million downloads with 5m monthly active users.
A strategic step
Astana Hub Venture Fund led the round with a $75m valuation of Grand Mobile studio.
“We raised funding a few months ago," said Lineytsev. "We didn’t see investment as a necessity, but rather as a strategic step.
“Astana Hub Ventures offers more than just capital - it provides access to unique industry expertise, structured scaling experience, international networks, and a powerful ecosystem.
“Such partnerships help us move faster, smarter and with greater resilience toward our big goals."
