Capcom is taking a dual-handed approach when it comes to mobile social gaming networks.

It's supporting both GREE and DeNA's Mobage, although today's news suggests GREE could the first among equals.

Capcom has announced six games on its platform; three titles for Japan and three for global release for iOS and Android.

Monster, monster

In terms of big brands, Capcom will be bringing Dead Rising: The Survival, Resident Evil VS and Monster Hunter: Massive Hunting to the west. The latter two games were first shown at E3 2012.

Japanese smartphone and feature phone users will get a bunch of social games, something highlighted by the prefix Minna to, which roughly translates as 'everyone's party' - Minna to Capcom All Stars, Minna to Daikoukai Frontier and Minna to Houkago Soul Hunters.

Shuffle the pack

Continuing the big trend in Japan, Minna to Houkago Soul Hunters is a card-based social game that has you collecting and combining Demon character attack cards and Soul Hunter cards for fighting the demons. It has cooperative modes and Capcom hopes it will appeal to a 'broad range of users'.

Minna to Capcom All Stars is a social game that uses characters from well-known Capcom games such as Street Fighter and Mega Man.

Minna to Houkago Soul Hunters will be released on 10 October, with the other games expected to be out before the end of 2012.
