Tactical shooter Delta Force Mobile surpassed 10 million downloads in its first four days, with knock-on benefits for the PC version.

Deemed an "overwhelming success" by its developer Team Jade, a studio within Tencent’s TiMi Studio Group, the mobile title has topped Free Games charts in 169 territories on the App Store and 125 on Google Play.

It should be noted that these 10m mobile installs followed over 25m pre-registrations.

A "significant" boost has also been seen on PC, with Steam’s concurrent player count said to be growing steadily.

Celebrating in style

Team Jade has confirmed a number of celebratory ‘Burst Fest’ events following the fast-reached milestone, including a seven-day login bonus and free access to over 150 weapon skins, 21 vehicle appearances and unique Operators.

New 3v3v3 combat is also being added tomorrow, May 2nd, via the Hot Zone mini-mode, while a new map Trench Lines - Night is expected soon.

From May 2nd to 29th, a limited-time bundle will also be available featuring a PTR-32 Assault Rifle - Dispute, Mini-14 Marksman Rifle - Dispute, a Dispute series Avatar and more.

"These additions are just the beginning, as Team Jade remains dedicated to improving player experience with ongoing content updates, features and optimisations," the dev said.

"Players can expect exciting developments in the near future as Team Jade continues to improve and enrich the game."

AppMagic estimates suggest that since its global launch on April 21st, Delta Force Mobile has generated $8.1 million across the two major app stores. China has led the way with a $6.6m contribution in that time, having already gained exclusive access last year.

Since gaining access last September, players in China have actually spent $77.4m in-game to date.

No other country has yet to break $1m in spending, with the US currently in second place at a $626,000 contribution.
