Scopely has partnered with Marvel to bring The Fantastic Four to Monopoly Go.
The crossover campaign which commenced on July 13th, allows fans to experience a retro-futuristic adventure featuring new locations, in-game events, and collectables.
Following its 2024 Marvel crossover collaboration, Scopely said the new collaboration offers fresh ways for players to experience the Marvel universe as it celebrates the cinematic return of the Fantastic Four.
In this crossover event, Marvel's first family enter the world of Monopoly Go through a reactivated portal, joining players, known as “Tycoons” on a heroic journey featuring mini-games and story-driven challenges.
New offerings
Furthermore, players can race as each Fantastic Four member in a revamped “Fantastic Racers” event, battle through a Dr. Doom-infused leaderboard, and join forces in the “Fantastic Partners” event.
“At Scopely, we build every experience around what excites and inspires our players," said Scopely SVP Eric Wood.
“With ‘Monopoly Go’ and Marvel’s Fantastic Four, we’re uniting the rich legacy of two cultural icons to bring an extraordinary experience right to our players’ fingertips - combining the charm of ‘Monopoly Go!’ with the heroism and cosmic adventures of Marvel’s First Family.”
Aside from Marvel, Scopely has previously partnered with Star Wars as well as held a campaign last year which featured A-list stars Jason Momoa, Chris Pratt, and Keke Palmer, with Will Ferrell joining as the voice of Mr. Monopoly in ongoing ads.
Earlier this month, Moon Active soft-launched Coin Master: Board Adventure, a new spin on its hit Coin Master franchise, aiming to rival Monopoly Go.
The game adds board and dice mechanics, blending familiar village-building and raiding gameplay with Monopoly-style progression.
