Roblox expects its developer community to bring in over $70 million from their creations in 2018.

The platform allows its community of mostly young developers to earn money on their projects. creators are set to double last year’s earnings with over $70 million expected this year.

Roblox has more than doubled its active creator count since last year, which is up to four million. Between them they created over 11 million experiences in 2017 alone.

These stats are set to be confirmed come the fourth annual Roblox Developer Conference in Amsterdam next week. The three-day event sees Roblox executives outline new features and tools, and will feature Super Evil CEO Kristian Segerstrale as a keynote speaker.

“Empowering the creativity of our developers is at the core of everything we do at Roblox,” said CEO and co-founder David Baszucki.

“Our platform is brought to life by our community of incredibly creative individuals who dream up these virtual worlds.”

Last month, Roblox unveiled its intention to raise up to $150 million through share sales.
