Sega puts out a public call for iPhone feedback
Ever since Sega helped kick off the App Store with Super Monkey Ball, it's actually remained surprisingly quiet on the iPhone front. Recently, some rather roughhewn emulations of its classic games Golden Axe, Sonic The Hedgehog and Streets of Rage have appeared, though without much fanfare or a particularly warm reception from the gaming public.
In an effort to get back on top of its game, Sega has put out a call for feedback, ideas, and requests for future iPhone adaptations of its prolific back catalogue.
This feedback is being taken through the gaming giant's Twitter and Facebook pages, with the only stipulation being that it's not looking for original ideas - just suggestions for blowing the dust off its first party developments.
Reactions have been very forthcoming, and the most interesting outcome so far is Sega's acknowledgement of the unofficial work a developer has done in bringing Sonic CD to the iPhone, promising to bring it up at the next "brainstorming meeting".
