Square Enix sees FY11 mobile content sales drop 7% to $89 million

Games publisher Square Enix has (TYO:9684) announced its financial results for the 12 months ending March 31, 2010.
In these, it's broken out figures for its mobile phone content division, including games, portal services for games such as Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest, ring tones and wallpapers.
Total sales were ¥10.2 billion (around $89 million), a drop of 6.9 percent year-on-year.
Operating income was ¥4.6 billion ($40 million), up 8.1 percent.
High achiever
Overall, during FY11, Square Enix had net sales of ¥192 billion (around $1.7 billion), up an impressive 42 percent year-on-year.
Operating income was ¥28 billion (247 million), up 130 percent.
Net income was ¥9.5 billion ($83 million), up 50 percent.
The company ended the period with total current assets of ¥213 billion (around $1.9 billion), up 35 percent year-on-year, in part due the issuing of a ¥35 billion Euro Yen convertible bond.
