Xsolla unveils Unity SDK to give developers more monetisation freedom

- SDK lets Unity developers integrate payments, IAPs, and custom storefronts without closed platforms.
- Enables direct player sales from day one with full control over checkout and player data.
- Supports 1,000+ payment methods in over 200 regions with built-in anti-fraud and tax tools.
Global commerce company Xsolla has launched a new Unity SDK to expand monetisation options for developers using the Unity engine.
Xsolla said the launch is part of its mission to improve direct-to-consumer revenue across mobile, PC, and web.
Unity developers can now use Xsolla’s new SDK to integrate payments, enable in-game purchases, and build custom storefronts without relying on closed platforms.
Xsolla claims the tool also allows developers to sell directly to players from day one while keeping full control over checkout, player data, and monetisation strategy.
Global reach
Furthermore, Xsolla said the SDK supports over 1,000 payment methods in over 200 regions with built-in anti-fraud and tax management, and enables models like IAPs, bundles, subscriptions, and personalised flows.
“Unity developers are pushing creative boundaries every day, and they deserve the same freedom when it comes to monetisation,” said Xsolla president of communications and strategy Chris Hewish.
“Our new SDK helps developers reach players directly, keep more revenue, and operate on their terms without giving up flexibility or global reach.”
Earlier this year in June, Xsolla partnered with game engine Defold to make monetisation easier for web games built with Defold and published on CrazyGames.
