Games commerce company Xsolla has partnered with UK trade body Ukie to become its official monetisation partner and programming sponsor.

The collaboration will see Xsolla provide games developers with tools, services and solutions through an exclusive programme.

The primary focus of the collaboration is to boost the UK games industry by improving monetisation and commercialisation strategies to drive long-term success and foster growth.

The partnership will also create events and programming for developers to discuss industry challenges and opportunities, with a full schedule planned for 2025 and beyond.

Supporting developers

The collaboration also seeks to demonstrate the UK's potential as a world leader in the games industry, looking to build confidence among government bodies, key stakeholders and investors.

“We are thrilled to partner with Ukie, a leading voice in the UK games industry,” said Xsolla SVP of business development Chris Meredith. “This collaboration allows us to help UK-based developers unlock new revenue opportunities and streamline the monetisation process.

“At Xsolla, we’re committed to providing a seamless, scalable experience for developers, and working with UKIE enables us to extend our support to a vibrant community of gaming professionals.”

Ukie CEO Nick Poole commented: “This partnership with Xsolla is an exciting development for our members. As the video game landscape continues to evolve, developers must have access to the best tools to support their financial growth.

“With Xsolla’s expertise in monetisation and global payment solutions, Ukie members are strongly positioned to thrive in domestic and international markets.”
