Loom Games’ hybridcasual pixel puzzler Pixel Flow has generated almost $200 million in gross player spending during its first year on the major app stores.
Pixel Flow launched on August 17th, 2025 and generated $198.4 million in its first 365 days. According to AppMagic estimates, spending started small, hitting just $1,500 over its first month, but began to snowball over the rest of 2025.
In its second month, player spending grew by more than 7,000% to $110,000, and its third month easily surpassed the $1m mark. Growth continued in early 2026, with $22.7m generated in January, spread across months five and six.
In its first year, Pixel Flow spending peaked in the spring at $28.3m during month eight, between March 17th and April 16th.
April was the game’s best month to date overall, making $27m, though monthly spending has been on the decline since. These figures don’t include any further revenue earned from other avenues such as in-game ads.
Rising fast
Istanbul-based Loom Games attracted more than 10m players to Pixel Flow in the game’s first few months on the market, achieved despite a team size of around just 20 people. The game’s success led to an announcement in February that Scopely was acquiring a majority stake in the developer, in a deal valuing the business above $1 billion.
Furthering Türkiye’s rising prominence with hybridcasual hits, Loom Games also earned a spot in our Top 30 Türkiye Game Makers 2026 list.
The studio is a finalist in the Best Developer category in this year's Pocket Gamer Mobile Games Awards 2026 in association with Samsung Gaming Hub, among other categories. Winners will be unveiled in Cologne on Tuesday, August 25th.

Rising revenue in Pixel Flow came alongside a surge in downloads during the game’s first half-year, estimated to have grown from around 25,000 in August 2025 to a peak of 4.8m in January 2026. To date, the game is estimated to have reached 34m installs between Google Play and the App Store.
Installs and revenue have both been led by the US, accounting for 32% and 66% of the global totals respectively. This means spending share from the country has been more than double what its installs represent.
Far behind in second place for downloads, Russia has accounted for 6%, while the UK ranks third at 5%.
In revenue, the UK ranked second with 5% of player spending, followed by Australia at 4%.
