Launched back in early February 2010, The Playforge's freemium Zombie Farm has managed to rustle up 11 million iOS downloads.
More importantly however, as well as being one of Apple's top grossing iPhone games of 2010, it hit an all-time player high in January, although The Playforge isn't releasing absolute figures.

But it will reveal the game has retained 40 percent of its players over the last month, and more than 10 percent over 12 months. (This suggests it has around 3 - 4 million monthly active users.)
According to analytics company Flurry, this compares to an average retention rate of 19 percent over a month, and less than 5 percent over a year for all iOS games.
Similarly, over the past two months, Zombie Farm players have logged in on an average of 3.6 sessions per day compared to the Flurry benchmark of 1.8 daily game sessions.
"We're continuing to grow Zombie Farm as an engaging, fun, and family-friendly game. Users have collectively clocked 60 million hours of gameplay and we hope to grow this figure meaningfully over the next year," said Vince McDonnell, founder of The Playforge.
""We plan to expand our studio operations to include new platforms as we continue to deliver new content for Zombie Farm as well as our next title."
