Social mobile developer PlayFirst wasn't in a rush to release on Google Play.
Indeed, the company, which is best known for titles such as Diner Dash, took its first step into Android waters holding Amazon's hand.
"We don't just jump onto platforms. It's all about the quality of our games," CEO Marco DeMiroz told us.
Time to Play
Still, after the Google Play release of Diner Dash, it seems pretty happy with its approach.
In two weeks, the free-to-play version of the game has racked up one million downloads.
There's also a paid Deluxe version. Priced 99c and featuring an additional 10 levels, it's done between 10,000 to 50,000 sales according to the Google Play download chart.
The franchise has also hit over 20 million downloads on iOS, and PlayFirst has plenty more titles to bring to Android: Cooking Dash has just gone live.
