Artificial Life CEO to speak about iPhone at Games Conventions Asia
The 2009 Games Convention Asia is ramping up its profile as it prepares to get underway from September 17th to 20th, with mobile technology firm Artificial Life announcing plans for a discussion panel on the iPhone as a gaming platform.

"The Apple iPhone and iPod touch have brought a new entertainment platform to the market and we are pleased to have released many exciting and successful games and apps over the past year," says CEO Eberhard Schoneburg.

"At the same time, we are very proud to say that our MoPA-TV technology is creating a new era of interactive mobile gaming and we are confident of its potential after several successful launches globally. I look forward to presenting our innovative cross-platform technology to the industry, and sharing my views on iPhone gaming and also the future of interactive mobile entertainment at the GCAC."

Schoneburg will take part in a panel discussion entitled 'iPhone as a Third Platform for Games', and offer a one-hour lecture on the company's innovative mobile technology platform.

Conferences such as this can often get a bit heavy, so there'll also be the finals of the Singapore Cosplay competition to help add a bit of culture to the mix.

You can find out more about the convention on its website.

Yes. Spanner's his real name. And, yes, he's heard that joke before.
