Gameloft (EPA:GFT) has announced its Q1 financials for the 3 months ending 31 March 2013.
Sales were 54.2 million (around $42.3 million), up 21 percent year-on-year.
Stripping out exchange rate fluctuations, this was up 24 percent year-on-year.
Geographically, sales broken down 32 percent in Europea and the Middle East, 25 percent North American, 25 percent Latin America and 19 percent in Asia.
Getting with the program
In terms of sectors, smartphones and tablets accounting for 60 percent of Gameloft's sales, compared with 43 percent a year ago.
67 percent of such sales came from in-app purchases and advertising.
Gameloft said it expects sales to continue to increase during 2013, pointing to the success of games such as Dungeon Hunter 4, Iron Man 3 and Order & Chaos Duels and forthcoming titles such as Gangstar Vegas, Despicable Me and UNO & Friends.
