Of all the big mobile platforms, BlackBerry has the worst reputation for gaming, but that doesn't mean that the RIM's 70 million subscribers aren't playing.
Canadian publisher Magmic, a long-term RIM supporter, has announced that its Texas Hold'em King LIVE game has been downloaded by over a million unique users in the 10 months since it launched.
Chatty hand
The freemium card game, which enables you to play against sharks from all over the world, includes 30 choices of avatar and 35 achievements, and has a chat system so you can communicate with those you're beating/taking a beating from.
You're provided with a daily bank of chips to play with, and - being a freemium title - you can buy more if you so desire. In celebration of its user milestone, you can get 150,000 chips for $6.99 for a limited time.
You can find out more about Texas Hold'em King LIVE on the BlackBerry App World.
