Nokia to launch Lumia 710 in UK on 1 February

Comes in six colour variations

Nokia to launch Lumia 710 in UK on 1 February
Official sales figures remain elusive but, as Pocket Gamer discovered, UK retail has been heavily pushing Nokia's Lumia 800 since it went on sale in November.

The Finnish firm will be hoping the budget-conscious Lumia 710 – initially targeted at developing markets such as Hong Kong, India, Russia, Singapore and Taiwan but since launched in the US and Germany – will generate a similar amount of hype when it rolls out on 1 February.

710th heaven

UK pricing on the announced €270 device has not yet been revealed, but the 3.7-inch Lumia 710 – which, like its bigger brother, runs Windows Phone 7.5 – is likely to come in at around half the price of the Lumia 800, which can be picked up SIM-free for £399.

"The colourful and affordable Nokia Lumia 710 is a no-nonsense smartphone that brings the Lumia experience to more people around the world," Nokia said after the device's unveiling.

Lumia 710 will be available in six different colours at launch - black and white with black, white, cyan, fuchsia and yellow back covers.
