Dundee-based studio Denki has cause to celebrate, with the firm's iOS release Quarrel picking up the best game accolade at 2011's Scottish BAFTAs.
Announced on the firm's blog, Quarrel beat off Cobra Mobile's iBomber Defense and Cohort Studios' PSP Minis release Me Monstar: Hear Me Roar! to take home the title.
No quarrel
"So, it turns out that we havent been deluding ourselves all this time Quarrel really is a bit special after all," stated MD Colin Anderson.
"And, importantly, we now have independent validation of that in the form of the 'best game' award from last night's Scottish BAFTAs held in Glasgow."
It's only the second time Denki has been nominated for a Scottish BAFTA in the studio's 11 year history, with the firm championing the "clean sweep" for Dundee in the games category all three studios hail from what Denki dubs as the "city of discovery".
"Suffice it to say, we're really pleased to see a game that so many people poured their hearts and souls in to for so long finally start to pick up the recognition we believe it deserves.
"Today we share this with everyone who has ever supported Quarrel and made it what it is today the best game Scotland has produced in 2011."
