Sega of America has appointed industry veteran Ian Curran as its new president and chief operating officer.
Curran will oversee publishing and Sonic business units within the Americas and EMEA. Additionally, he will serve on the board of Atlus USA.
He'll work with staff across the company's offices in London, Irvine and Burbank, and will report directly to Sega West CEO Tatsuyuki Miyazaki.
Prior to joining Sega Curran’s most recent position saw him coaching and mentoring staff and gaming accessories supplier Gioteck, while his career spans major publishers like THQ and Acclaim Entertainment.
