Scoreloop announces support for iPad

Will get a launch game with Astro Ranch HD

Scoreloop announces support for iPad
Alongside rival technologies such as OpenFeint and Crystal, Scoreloop has confirmed it's fully behind the iPad.

"We were thrilled when we first saw the iPad. There was no question that we would support it in addition to the iPhone and Android. We're now extremely proud to officially announce support for the iPad, starting today," said Marc Gumpinger, Scoreloop CEO.

"And now we're free to state as well, that the first Scoreloop enabled games for the iPad are already in the works."

These include Tag Games' Astro Ranch, which will have a HD version.

"We were amazed at the quality and flexibility of Scoreloop's technology and technical support. So we decided to not only use Scoreloop in Astro Ranch for the iPhone but also in Astro Ranch HD for the iPad," said Paul Farley, Tag Games' CEO.

"The iPad allows for an even more sophisticated gaming experience," said Dominik Westner, Scoreloop CTO.

"With our white label technology, developers have complete freedom to integrate social features into their new creations. We're very excited to work with these developers as they bring their first iPad games to market."
