With Amazon's increasing ubiquitous Kindle software and Apple's iBooks gaining the majority of headlines when it comes to e-books, one new publisher is looking to build on the potential of Sony's rarely mentioned PSP Digital Comics store.
Working with books publishers, indie comic houses, and authors and artists from around the world, Paul Rhodes of Orb Entertainment is preparing his first releases.
"The partners we have assembled are able to complement the existing content from the more recognised comic providers," he explains.
"As well as offering the quick hit of indie comics, we're also working with some established names in the literary world to bring humorous, dark, and sometimes deeply thought provoking stories in graphic novel and comic form.
"Hopefully, this will prove a great step in recognising the games market as a valid medium for storytelling."
