Ex-Resolution CEO picks up Moto Racing IP for new outfit Zordix
Former Resolution Interactive CEO Matti Larsson has bought up the recently closed company's IP, rolling it into his new outfit Zordix.

Swedish developer Resolution built up the Moto Racing series, with titles such as Aqua Moto Racing, Dirt Moto Racing, Snow Moto Racing and Aqua Moto Racing 2, generating millions of iOS downloads.

Resolution also released popular tower defense game BioDefense. The company's download total was said to be over 12 million.

"The acquired best-in-class brands will play an important role in our strategy moving forward," said Larsson, who's CEO and creative director of Zordix, which up to this point is focused on DSiWare, although its website also lists interests in digital tourism, and medical software for clinical use and research.

"While our involvement in the Nintendo platforms, especially the Nintendo 3DS is our main interest, we are actively seeking partners for versions on other platforms as well," he added.

"These strong titles combined with our own line up of brands provides a solid foundation for Zordix's future expansion."
