According to the IT Times, Korea mobile developer and tech company BiCore has raised 5 billion Won (around $4.5 million) from Korean VC CJ Venture Investment.
The company, which switched from feature phone to smartphone development in 2010, has seen strong downloads of its games on Android and iOS.
Demon Hunter has received over 4 million downloads to-date, while Jewel Battle Online and Bloomy Online's totals are over two million.
All are free-to-play titles, funded via in-ap purchases.
Another part of its business is its n-Screen engine, which enables cross-platform development for iOS, Android and PC. It's planned to extend this to Windows Phone and PlayStation consoles including PS Vita.
