Unity opens speaker submissions for Unite 12

Amsterdam event waiting for luminaries

Unity opens speaker submissions for Unite 12
The organisers behind Unite 12 - Unity's annual developer conference - have begun accepting submissions for speakers.

This year it's being held in Amsterdam, and in order to have a chance to strut your stuff, you'll have to get your talk submitted by 20 April.

Unite and excite

"Unite is the event that we most look forward to every year and a large part of our excitement comes from the many amazing sessions given by our community," said Unity CEO David Helgason.

"It's awesome to see so many members of the community involved in teaching others how to better take advantage of the Unity engine and tools."

Unity claims previous speakers at Unite events have been able to "provide knowledge and valuable experience to those looking to improve their Unity skills."

As such, submissions are set to be judged based on their relevancy and teaching potential, with new development techniques and methods also set to be considered.

Submit to succeed

Those lucky enough to earn a spot will also receive a free pass to the show, which will run between 22-24 August.

Anyone interested in talking can apply via a dedicated Unite 12 speaker submissions website.

Tickets for the event itself – as well as the Unity training day, due to take place on 21 August – can be picked up from Unity's website.
