Germany artificial intelligence middleware provider xaitment has announced it's bringing its products to mobile.
Launched at GDC, xaitMap for Unity and xaitControl for Unity hook into the cross platform engine as plug-ins, hence supporting mobile developers working on iOS and Android games.
Find your way
XaitMap for Unity brings advanced NavMesh generation, pathfinding and movement features to Unity and Unity Pro licensees.
XaitControl for Unity provides runtime libraries and a graphical Finite State Machine editor that work with Unity's scene editor and Mono Develop environments. This enables you to quickly model advanced game logic and character behaviours.
"We knew when we launched our AI products for Unity that mobile platforms were extremely important," said Mike Walsh, xaitment's CEO.
"Given the positive feedback we received at this year's GDC, and subsequent requests for mobile platform support, we've made the launch of iOS, Android and Web Player versions of our Unity plug-ins our number one development priority."
Both products will be available for mobile in early May from the xaitment web store.
Pricing is $499 or local equivalent each. There will also be evaluation copies, which provide 45 days of free use.
